Salary: GBP65000 - GBP70000 per annum Group Head of IT is required by an education provider based in close proximity to Wilmslow Train Station and paying up to £70k. This individual will be responsible for devising and executing the IT strategy for the Group. This role demands a deep understanding of IT, coupled with strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management capabilities. The successful candidate will excel in navigating ambiguity and adapting to fast-moving changes while delivering impactful results across the organisation. As a key leader, you will play an essential role in shaping the company’s technology landscape, ensuring that IT services are aligned with and support the achievement of business goals. Responsibilities IT Strategy:

Develop and implement an adaptable IT strategy aligned with organisational goals. Leadership:

Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a high-performance culture, and manage the user support technician and external MSP. Project Management:

Oversee IT projects, ensuring timely, budget-friendly delivery that meets expectations. Stakeholder Engagement:

Build strong relationships with stakeholders to align IT services with business needs. Software Optimisation:

Manage software packages, seeking opportunities for consolidation and efficiency. Data Protection:

Ensure GDPR compliance and implement robust data security measures. Operational Oversight:

Manage IT systems, security, and user support, resolving issues quickly. Change Management:

Lead IT initiatives for smooth organisational transitions with minimal disruption. Skills and Experience Demonstrated expertise in IT leadership, ideally within a multi-site organisation. In-depth knowledge of developing and executing IT strategies. Proven project management abilities, with a successful track record of project completion. Skilled at managing and prioritising multiple tasks in high-pressure settings. Strong leadership and team management capabilities, emphasising collaboration and teamwork.
