Reporting to the CEO, this newly created role will be instrumental in driving the group forward with a structured, proactive roadmap for the development of the Health and Safety function across three manufacturing sites.
Having worked in fast-paced manufacturing environments, you will appreciate the importance of implementing, managing, and monitoring relevant Health and Safety KPI’s. The role will be very much looking at the bigger picture across all three sites, spotting the gaps and working in partnership with the team and the EHS advisors to continuously improve SOP’s and stay ahead of changing legislation and standards.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead Health & Safety by developing and delivering new policies and procedures. Be able to spot gaps and centralise SOP’s across the three sites. Lead H&S audits and Best Practices with the ability to drive change.
What we need from you: The ability/experience to lead Health and Safety across a manufacturing site or multiple sites. A NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent), with a strong working knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. A keen eye for detail, able to spot gaps and the ability to be commercially astute.
