About the role: We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Group Indirect Tax Manager to join our Finance team in Birmingham. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing indirect tax compliance processes, policies, and project-based deliverables for the UK LLP and related group entities, both in the UK and internationally. This hybrid position provides the chance to manage indirect tax issues from both compliance and advisory perspectives, while also engaging in other areas of tax within a supportive and collaborative team. Additionally, the Group Indirect Tax Manager will support the Senior Group Tax Manager in overseeing the overall tax governance of the Group, including tax policy and strategy, and in managing and developing the tax function to meet business needs. About you: As a Group Indirect Tax Manager, you will hold ATT/CTA qualifications and possess substantial post-qualification experience in a tax practice environment. The ideal candidate will have received training from leading professional services firms, ensuring they are well-versed in current relevant issues within the UK and other key global jurisdictions. In this role, you will exhibit a high level of professionalism and a track record of being well-organized and hands-on, with a keen attention to detail. You will bring strong technical expertise in indirect taxes and a solid understanding of LLP operations. The successful individual will possess exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written. This will allow you to effectively present often technical information to non-financial colleagues and engage with senior management and discuss pertinent matters, as well as clearly convey tax-related issues to Partners and Board members.
