Take on a pivotal role as Group Management Accountant with a global leader serving the energy, infrastructure, and renewables sectors. This opportunity is ideal for a fully qualified accountant with up to 3 years of post-qualification experience. As a Group Management Accountant, you’ll working closely with senior management to deliver financial insights, streamline processes, and support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities will include: Supporting the development of group forecasts and strategic plans. Creating detailed financial models to inform decision-making. Producing concise and impactful summary presentations. Reviewing submissions from regional divisions for accuracy and insights. Conducting and reviewing internal analytical activities. Working with regional divisions to prepare various business analytics. Presenting findings to financial and non-financial personnel. Reviewing, analysing, and interpreting monthly regional reporting submissions including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and providing detailed commentary. Reviewing, analysing, and interpreting monthly contract and project accounting submissions. Participating in monthly review calls to discuss and address key findings. Evaluating existing processes and controls while contributing to the enhancement of accounting systems and procedures across the Group. The ideal applicant will have: A professional qualification (ICAS or equivalent) and Big 4 audit experience (up to 3 years PQE). Expertise in technical accounting and advanced Excel skills. Exceptional analytical and communication abilities, with a knack for explaining financial concepts to non-specialists. A proactive attitude and passion for process improvement in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
