We have an exciting opportunity for a

Group Marketing Manager

to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave. The role will be based at our Group head office in Barlborough, Chesterfield and will involve travel to our regional offices and sites.

Joining our team as Group Marketing Manager, you will lead Avant's marketing and brand strategy, oversee marketing campaigns, lead generation, brand identity, and internal and external communications, while building new marketing capabilities to drive sustained growth.

Please note - this is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract, covering maternity leave.

Key duties and requirements You will also be responsible for but not limited to; Planning, developing and implementing effective digital and non-digital product, brand and customer-focused marketing strategies. Overall responsibility for the creation of proactive, innovative marketing campaigns, generating leads and governing a variety of channels/platforms alongside wider business communications, which directly support and influence the delivery of Avant's business plan. Tracking trends through the provision of effective market data, customer research and analysis to optimise marketing capabilities, in line with Avant's marketing strategy. Procuring, leading, challenging and working collaboratively with external brand, digital marketing and communications agencies along with other strategic partners, to achieve Avant's business and marketing objectives and strategy. Attending regional marketing meetings to provide support, direction and leadership ensuring regional activity is effectively planned, managed and implemented. Setting and managing Group and regional marketing budgets. Preparing reports, updates and management information on all relevant KPIs. Developing creative and innovative internal marketing messages. Supporting the Executive/Group in protecting the business' integrity and brand reputation.

Who are we looking for? To be successful as our Group Marketing Manager, you will be used to working in a fast-paced yet organised and methodical environment with a passion for all things marketing and brand. Previous experience of working within a similar role for a housebuilder or marketing agency would be highly desirable.

Stakeholder management along with the ability to influence across all levels are also essential requirements of this role.

To be considered for this role you should also possess: A relevant qualification or extensive experience in Marketing management. Extensive knowledge of sales, brand and customer experience requirements. Strong communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills. Excellent planning, prioritisation, project management, and decision-making capability. Proven experience line managing multiple team members. Awareness of codes of practice that impact housebuilding e.g. NHBC, NHQC and building regs is highly advantageous.
