We are looking for a Group Marketing Manager to join our management team on a 12-month contract to provide maternity cover. About the Role As the Group Marketing Manager, you will report to the Commercial Director and will be responsible for managing, motivating, and leading a team of five support staff. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s marketing and communication strategy while driving productivity, sales, and revenue across all departments. The marketing team is responsible for promoting all Pulman products and services as well as representing the Volkswagen Group manufacturer brands. Responsibilities Manage, motivate, and lead a team of five people. Use management tools such as Jira and Range to help plan and organize team workflows. Create team and individual targets to help achieve overall marketing KPIs. Plan, develop, implement, and measure B2C and B2B marketing campaigns. Produce acquisition and retention-based strategies. Develop quarterly campaigns in line with manufacturer brand strategies. Deliver and measure results against KPIs. Maintain and adhere to the marketing budget. Work collaboratively to create and manage cross-organizational integrated marketing campaigns. Source and maximize opportunities to build relationships with external partners, sponsors, and suppliers. Negotiate with media providers to produce effective marketing communication strategies. Manage efficiencies while working with external agencies. Ensure manufacturer franchise standards and compliance are met across all marketing channels. React to manufacturer marketing demands and changes in campaign strategies. Comply with legislative standards including FCA advertising standards and GDPR. Produce result-driven reports and analyze successes for future campaign directions. Support the team with marketing operations. Key Skills and Experience The individual will have a
minimum of 5 years’ experience in Marketing Management , preferably in an in-house environment. Retail industry experience is advantageous. Pulman is looking for someone with at
least 5 years’ experience in People Management . Excellent communication, time management, and planning skills are essential for this role. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter, enthusiastic, and self-motivated to deliver impactful marketing strategies. The successful candidate will also be hands-on with marketing to support the team during high-pressure periods.
