Hays are currently partnering with a global company who are looking for a Group Accountant to join them on a transformation project in South Manchester. The group has shown regular and consistent growth, alongside achievable near-future plans. It is an exciting time to join the business.
Your new role
In this role you will be providing technical guidance to group companies and assist in the production of budgets and forecasts. You will be responsible for producing the monthly group consolidated accounts, reviewing and challenging the management accounts and liaising with senior stakeholders regarding financial information. You will perform the monthly reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in this role, you will need to be ACA Qualified and ideally from a Big 4/Top 10 practice. You will have a strong audit background, currently be at Assistant or Manager level, and be looking to make your first move into industry. You will be focused and meticulous in your approach to your work and have a continuous improvement mindset.
