Altum Consulting are currently recruiting for a leading consumer goods business with a diverse portfolio of well-known brands, committed to delivering exceptional products that enhance everyday lives. As we continue to expand globally, we are looking for a highly skilled Group Reporting Manager to join our dynamic finance team in London.RoleAs the Group Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the group's financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with senior leadership and finance teams across the business, providing critical insights and ensuring the smooth delivery of consolidated financial reports. This is a key role in supporting the company's strategic decision-making and growth initiatives.Responsibilities

  • Manage the preparation and delivery of consolidated group financial statements in compliance with IFRS/UK GAAP.
  • Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting processes for the group, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee the group's consolidation processes, including intercompany eliminations and foreign exchange.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory reporting requirements, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in accounting standards.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to finance teams across the business.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the reporting function.
  • Support ad-hoc projects, including acquisitions, divestitures, and system implementations.

Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 3-5 years strong post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in group financial reporting, preferably in a consumer goods or FMCG environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, with the ability to interpret and apply accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in financial consolidation systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience working in a multinational business environment is an advantage.
