As the Group Sales Director you will be responsible for leading CSL’s sales operations across Europe in the F&S and IoT Critical Connectivity sectors. This senior-level position, reporting to the CCO, will oversee all aspects of sales strategy, revenue growth, and team management, with direct responsibility for managing regional Sales Directors and Business Development Directors across multiple European markets. This role is integral to our ambitious growth plans, driven by a private equity-backed model and expansion goals. You will need exceptional organisational and client-facing skills. Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and implement a robust, pan-European sales strategy, tailored to diverse regional markets, and aligned with the company’s overarching growth objectives. Set ambitious revenue targets and direct sales activities to achieve or exceed these targets across all business units, focusing on the Critical Connectivity IoT market. Drive market share expansion by identifying new revenue streams and high-value partnerships with key industry players in sectors like healthcare, transportation, utilities, and manufacturing. Maintain a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Work closely with the Product and Marketing teams to ensure that the business consistently has the best solutions for CSL’s target customer base and that the sales teams have sufficient support to enable them to promote and sell those products. Deliver regular performance status, including but not limited to, keeping your pipeline updated and results presentations to internal and external teams. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of regional Sales Directors and the Business Development Director, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes accountability, innovation, and team success. Work with the Business Development Director and his teams to ensure successful entry into new target markets and new channels to market. Establish clear goals, KPIs, and accountability measures, ensuring each regional leader is equipped and motivated to meet their targets. Work collaboratively with other departments, especially the Product, Marketing, Customer Success and Operations teams to tailor client solutions and ensure seamless execution of customer requirements. European travel to meet customers, partners or attend industry events. Aiding with all communications with customers. Key Skills & Qualifications Sought: Flawless communication skills in both spoken and written English. Computer literate with experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Confidence to work autonomously and liaise with a mix of individuals. A keen eye for detail with excellent organisational skills. A strong team player who can collaborate on truly diverse projects. Adept at talking to people from different backgrounds, you should have experience managing a conversation over the phone and improving working relationships with clients. Ability to manage multiple accounts, relationships, and projects simultaneously. Personal drive and ambition with the desire to be at your best at all times. Current UK driving licence.
