Overview People. Passion. Pride. This is what has driven our teams since 1833. Since that time, we have developed to become a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time-critical logistics services at over 290 locations in 65 countries, across 6 continents. But at the heart of our business is our people. Role Purpose This role will play an important part in further strengthening our sales and commercial capability across the business. The primary purpose is to support our regional commercial teams in maximizing our success with high priority tenders, propositions, and sales pitches. This will include providing high-quality coordination and input to major tenders, creating a best practice framework for our commercial teams to use in the management of all stages of the bidding lifecycle, particularly around bid submissions. A key focus of this role will be coordination of global, multi-regional bids, quality control of bid content, and further development of sales collateral, such as case studies of success stories across our portfolio, which can be deployed in bids to differentiate Menzies Aviation from our competitors. The role will also be responsible for creating standardized high-level corporate presentations and overlooking sales performance through the Salesforce CRM system, reporting sales results to the Executive Management Board, and customizing the system as per users' requirements. This position is a 12-month fixed term contract. What you will be doing Developing and implementing a best practice framework for bid management across all stages of the bid lifecycle, which can be implemented in practice given workload volumes and customer requirements. Providing “hands-on” support to regional teams by performing the Bid Manager role on the most critical/high-priority bids or propositions, ensuring effective coordination of these bids and providing authorship of the bid as required. Working with the commercial, communications, and IT teams to create sales-oriented, high-quality, well-designed, and easily accessible bid and presentation templates, ensuring compliance with all corporate brand standards. Maintenance and constant improvements of a “bid library,” collating bids and presentations from across the business, ensuring that best practices are highlighted and troubleshooting any problems or shortfalls in our approach. Strengthening our approach to customer feedback and how we undertake win/loss analysis to create a culture of continuous improvement and enhancement of win rates. Safety, Security, Well-Being and Compliance: You will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety, and well-being of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures. The company is committed to providing a safe working environment for all staff members. In all areas of our business, there is a potential risk to the health, safety, and welfare of everyone on our sites through the misuse of alcohol and drugs. As such, the Company prohibits such misuse and carries out regular testing to enforce our Substance Misuse Policy. What we are looking for Substantial experience of working in a procurement/sales-driven environment. Undergraduate education highly desirable. Experience of working in complex organizations with a global footprint and diverse structures, and working across multiple teams or departments. Advanced in using Salesforce CRM system. Highly developed communication skills, particularly in written English. Strong commercial aptitude with empathy and understanding of customer requirements. Diversity Menzies Aviation is a committed equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible applicants regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, religion or belief, marital status, pregnancy, and maternity. We strive to create an inclusive working environment, where the different knowledge, perspectives, experiences, and approaches of our global workforce are represented. Where everyone feels valued and can reach their full potential. Application Instructions Is this role ticking all the boxes for you? If so, please click apply now! Need more detail?
