Our client is seeking a Group Senior Finance Analyst to join their fast-growing business. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a candidate with strong analytical skills, looking to make insightful tactical decisions that will shape the future success of the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing weekly and monthly sales and margin analysis packs, delivering rolling sales forecasts, and leading projects that develop new MI tools and dashboards.
Responsibilities Of The Group Senior Finance Analyst
As a Group Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's rapidly growing business. Your responsibilities will span across various aspects of financial planning, analysis, reporting, and forecasting. You will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining weekly and monthly sales and margin analysis packs delivering rolling sales forecasts, building reporting solutions, among other tasks. Your ability to create Power BI dashboards to encompass KPIs and reporting objectives will be crucial in this role.
Produce weekly flash and forward booking revenue position for the group
Implement and maintain weekly and monthly sales and margin analysis pack for the group
Deliver rolling sales forecasts based on current trends
Rebuild consolidated MI reporting model based on new P&L format incorporating everything required for covenant reporting
Developing the budget model template, summarising it, and creating a consolidated report for the board
Creation of Power BI dashboards to encompass KPI and reporting objectives for the year
Own the team’s automation roadmap of key reports, working closely with wider finance teams and IT to deliver practical solutions that improve accuracy, insight and usability whilst saving hours that can be utilised for more value-add activities
What The Successful Candidate Will Bring
Qualified accountant
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Power Query and Power BI technologies and comfortable working with multiple data sets simultaneously
Ability to communicate effectively, demonstrating emotional intelligence skills
Desirable Skills: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage Line 50
Able to present detailed financial analysis clearly to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
A clear understanding of when to deliver detailed analysis vs summarised data to the audience
Advanced Excel coupled with data modelling skills
