As a Group VDA you will be primarily based at English Ford in Poole.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
You'll have the responsibility of remotely assisting other sites with price matching and estimate duties.
You will be expected to cover holiday and absence across the group when needed.
Working within site and BSI guidelines to ensure the workflow of job cards through the workshop.
Order and receipt parts onto our BMS ensuring the maximum discount is received from suppliers.
Review repair methodologies to ensure all repairs are cost-effective.
Communicate damage assessments with the driver of the vehicle for accuracy and efficiency and utilise any upsell opportunities.
Ensure all repairs have relevant repair methods attached to them before they are released into the workshop.
Liaise with Ford when dealing with warranty concerns and ensure all relevant TSB’s are followed correctly.
Have the chance to mentor VDA Apprentice through to qualification.
Price matching the job for final authority to maximise profit ensuring all relevant documents are attached to ensure that we meet SLAs.
