Group Product Manager

to lead on our product as we shape and build out the customer experience and features. As the Group Product Manager on one of our critical customer-facing products, you will be at the forefront of our product strategy and execution. We have a number of products which you could be supporting, including our new current account, our savings product, our mobile app and our payments experience. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive innovation and ensure our product delivers exceptional value to our users. You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction, overseeing the development process, and ensuring launches to the wider market are successful. Critical to this will be ensuring customers are excited by our product and want to use it over the competition. Of course, you won't be doing this alone. Collaboration is in our Zopa DNA which means you'll be managing 3 Product Managers split across 3 squads and supported by 19 engineers. There’s no room for ivory tower thinking and dishing out requirements - you’ll need to work proactively and collaboratively from the ground up, coaching your team, engaging stakeholders and most importantly making sure we're building the right things. A day in the life...

Set the strategic direction for the user experience of a key product in collaboration with the leadership team. Manage and develop 3 Product Managers of user facing squads across onboarding, retention and payments. You must ensure our customers are excited by our product. Set a high bar for product design and customer empathy – working with the Design team to create an optimised and differentiated customer experience. Ensure everything built is beautiful, valuable, viable, usable and feasible. Work closely with Engineering leadership on team structure and delivery. Support your teams with how to architect solutions, supporting them make the right trade-offs to ensure a speedy delivery of value and fast learning. Manage relationships and interdependencies across the business with key stakeholders such as Operations, Compliance, Brand, Legal and Finance, along with other Product tribes. Use data and MI to optimise the experience and commercials. Ensure the team is obtaining and using the necessary insight to succeed. Build and inspire the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning. Contribute to the wider product community at Zopa to ensure that it continues to be a compelling place for talented people to build their product careers. About you...

Proven Expertise in Fintech: Demonstrated ability to manage and lead diverse products or domains within the Fintech sector, ensuring alignment with industry standards and innovative practices. Analytical Skills: Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative analysis, enabling data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. Prioritization and Management: Strong skills in prioritizing and managing product features and initiatives, ensuring that the most impactful projects are given precedence. Product Development Experience: Extensive experience with the 0-1 journey, including the initial development and scaling up of products, ensuring successful market entry and growth. Product-Market Fit Assessment: Proficient in assessing product-market fit through the use of personas, segmentations, and iterative feedback loops, ensuring products meet customer needs and market demands. B2C Experience: Experience in the B2C sector, with a deep understanding of consumer behavior and market trends, crucial for driving product success.
