The Consultant Gynaecologist will be an experienced registered Gynaecologist who is on the specialist register and possesses the skills to assess and treat patients within the community.

The Consultant Gynaecologist will see a range of patients within the outpatient setting, where they will need to assess, evaluate, and manage patients with minor and moderate complexity gynaecology conditions. Locations:

The successful post holder may also need to complete clinics that include but are not limited to: Mirena insertion/removal Endometrial biopsy Cervical Cautery (with silver nitrate) Ring/Shelf Pessary insertion/removal Person Specification

Must be on the Specialist Register for at least 12 months Appraisal as Consultant for at least 12 months Disclosure and Barring Service Check
