We are looking for a Tax Manager to join our team in Bristol You will oversee the delivery of personal tax compliance and advisory work for a portfolio of owner-managed business owners, high net worth individuals, trusts, overseas issues, and all other issues arising in our client base. What you'll be doing day to day as a Tax Manager Managing the tax compliance processes for a portfolio of clients to ensure that tax returns are filed on a timely basis and clients are advised of tax payments Reviewing personal tax returns and computations Reviewing trust tax returns Reviewing capital gains tax returns Preparation of more complex personal tax computations and returns Following established procedures for workflows and updating these when necessary Dealing with tax enquiries Conducting technical research Liaising with Directors and Associates Delegating work to the tax team Monitoring recoveries on your portfolio. About you Be authentic in every situation and like to be connected to your team, clients, and local communities Like to listen and understand, to show up every day with passion and to stand up for things that matter to you Be driven to succeed, take initiative, and want results ATT or equivalent experience Working towards CTA (study support available) As well as the above, ideally you will have experience of working with owner-managed businesses, managing tax compliance processes, as well as a broad and general tax knowledge of all aspects of direct taxes.
