Are you able to provide specialist therapy assessment and treatment for a defined caseload of patients within St Andrews Therapy Department, delivering a high standard of care and maintaining high professional standards? Can you assess and treat your own caseload of patients as part of a Multi-disciplinary Team and provide Hand Therapy in a specialist Burns and Plastic Surgery Centre, contributing to service development and participating in Clinical Audit and research? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our established team within Burns, Plastics, and Hand Therapy. We currently have a vacancy in our hand therapy team, delivering clinical interventions both face to face and virtually to a wide range of patients under the management of our plastic surgery, orthopedics, and rheumatology consultants. The post will give the successful candidate an opportunity to experience different aspects of the specialty, and there is scope to rotate across other areas of Burns and Plastic Surgery in the future. Depending on previous experience, the post could be available to a Band 5 applicant who can work towards competencies with the support of senior staff. Full training will be given.
