You will use equipment and gauges in line with LU standards to assess if the track and assets are safe for hand back to traffic. Other tasks could include clearance gauging, surveys, and inspections.
You will need to be a good communicator and able to work closely with colleagues and clients. It is essential that candidates have good working knowledge and experience of track and conductor rail components and materials along with current rail standards, processes, and documentation.
Hours: 08:00-17:00
You will need: ICI-LU T002/3 Manual Handling (desirable, we can provide training)
Duties: As a T002 and T003 Engineer, you may be required to work at a variety of London Underground stations, which can be any station on the LU network.
Must be able to work to strict time deadlines. He or she must also be able to read safety publications and listen to instructions.
The Track Handback Engineer must be flexible to changing work requests. The T002 and T003 Track Handback Engineer must be able to work enthusiastically and with a can-do attitude.
The Handback Engineer must have the ability to work under pressure. Long-term work and must be prepared to come over as a primary.
