West Wallasey is a national vehicle rental company employing over 300 staff and operating a fleet of c.20,000 vehicles. It operates from its Wirral based sites located in Wallasey.
The company is seeking an experienced Handyperson to join the team.
The successful candidate will be conducting basic maintenance, repairs, and groundwork across various sites. This will include performing routine landscaping on the grounds, undertaking light installation or carpentry (e.g. building furniture) and assisting tradespeople with electrical and plumbing repairs, as well as identifying and reporting any need for major repairs.
The role commands a conscientious approach, good communication skills and a high level of reliability. Proven experience as a Handyperson or similar role and a full driving license is essential.
A highly competitive salary in excess of £30,000, company vehicle, company pension and other flexible benefits are available for this in-house position.
An on-site training programme will be offered to the successful candidate.
