The role will support delivery of safe stroke care 24 hours, including thrombolysis care and ensure nursing staff are adhering to evidence based stroke care. They will ensure a positive patient experience through the delivery of high quality patient care for stroke patients. Main duties of the job

Understanding of NMC and proficiencies Understanding of national stroke guidelines Skills

Patient education and information Protocols/standard setting Quality assurance Delivery of patient centred care Caring for patients following Stroke or Neurology Quality improvement and managing change Caring for patients with high acuity Qualifications

First degree or willing to work towards or equivalent Teaching and assessing qualification Completion of Preceptorship Disclosure and Barring Service Check
