Hardware Design Engineer Telford - hybrid working 50k DOE

Key Responsibilities Conducting electrical site surveys Performing calculations for sizing and selection, including power, short circuit, voltage drop, and heat dissipation Selecting equipment and components based on client specifications and internal standards Preparing single-line diagrams for power, control, and communication networks Designing general arrangements for control and drive panels Creating electrical schematics and cable schedules Procuring general components and materials Facilitating manufacturing handover with proper documentation and support Preparing as-built documentation after testing and commissioning Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, client requirements, and internal standards Achieving project milestones within the set timeline Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Hardware Design department Managing and maintaining the Technical Construction File

Essential skills Apprenticeship / Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics Minimum 18 months in a similar role Experience using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical Good understanding of control system electrical design
