Responsible for the detailed electrical design of controls and drives systems Reporting directly to the Director of Engineering & Innovation Job Responsibilities
Electrical site surveys Calculations to support sizing and selection (Power, Short Circuit, Voltage Drop, Heat Dissipation, etc.) Equipment/component selection in line with client specification and internal preference Single line diagrams for power, control and networking/communications Electrical schematics and cable schedules Procurement of general components and materials Manufacturing handover, documentation and support As-built documentation from Testing and Commissioning Complying with all appropriate industry regulations, client specifications, and internal standards Meeting project milestones Contribution to the continuous improvement of the Hardware Design department Maintenance of the Technical Construction File Other duties as required Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Apprenticeship/Degree in Electrical Engineering/Mechatronics Minimum 18 months in a similar role Experience using EPLAN or AutoCAD Electrical Good understanding of control system electrical design Personal Qualities
Being a great team player as well as the ability to work off own initiative Confident and pro-active with an organised approach to work Situational adaptability Hands-on attitude Enthusiastic and able to be relied upon Remuneration Package
