The Stormont Hotel in Belfast has an opportunity for General Manager. The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management and development of the hotel and its staff, to enhance and maintain its position as a premier venue within its target markets; contribute to the development of the Hastings Hotels Group as an effective member of the Executive Management Team and reporting to Managing Director, James McGinn. Key Responsibilities:

Manage and motivate staff through effective communication, training and development, ensuring HR procedures are followed. Determine and agree annual budgets, manage costs and factors affecting profitable performance. Promote a harmonious working environment where all employees are treated with respect. Ensure maintenance and presentation of the hotel premises to the highest standards. Partner with the Group Sales and Marketing teams to promote and market the business. Implement quality standards and procedures, regularly review feedback for continual improvement. Maintain effective communication to align individual performance with company requirements. Create and promote opportunities to develop effective working relationships. Identify resource efforts to deliver long-term goals and priorities. Enhance customer service through effective communication and actions. Liaise with suppliers and external contacts as appropriate. Continuously develop industry knowledge to maintain market position. Ensure a safe working environment in compliance with legislation. Perform any other duties as required by a director. Required Criteria:

Previous senior management experience in Food and Beverage and Accommodation within a four-star environment. Educated to third level standard. Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. A results-driven approach with the ability to meet/exceed deadlines. A strong understanding of financial processes. The ability to prioritise, plan, and demonstrate attention to detail. Excellent people management skills. Excellent sector and business management knowledge. Desired Criteria:

Previous General Management experience within a four-star environment. A degree in Business Management or Hospitality. Skills Needed:
