The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the Division and deputising for the Managing Director as required. We are keen to hear from applicants with significant senior management experience who are currently working within a large setting in the NHS. The post holder will have shared accountability with the Managing Director for the delivery of operational and performance targets, local and national standards, and will lead the transformation of services in line with the Trust's strategic plans. Currently, the Division oversees the full range of clinical support services supporting secondary, tertiary, and highly specialised services. You will have specific responsibility for Theatres, Day Surgery and Surgical Admission, Anaesthetics, Pre-Op, and Pain Management. The successful post holder will be expected to work across all the hospital sites within UHB Trust and demonstrate strong capabilities in leading complex and challenging services in uncertain times (75 Theatres / over 100 Critical Care beds / 220+ Consultants).
