GP Practice Health Care Assistant Hounslow up to £14ph DOE Looking for an exciting and rewarding career in healthcare? We are currently seeking a skilled healthcare assistant to join our clients team in Hounslow, providing high-quality care to patients in the local community. As a healthcare assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the team's healthcare professionals, delivering excellent patient care and ensuring patients receive the best possible treatment. With an hourly rate of up to £14 per hour, we are looking for someone with a care certificate, phlebotomy qualification, and experience administering intramuscular injections. You will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and compassionate manner, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to support our patients' needs, delivering a range of duties including: New patient health checks NHS Health checks ECG recording Phlebotomy Influenza and B12 injections Chaperoning duties Processing and management of laboratory samples requested by GPs/nurses Sterilising, cleansing and maintenance of surgical equipment Surgical equipment and vaccine re-stocking and stock rotation Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms In order to successfully apply for this position, you need to hold a Level 3 Qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and must hold both a phlebotomy qualification and intramuscular injection certificate. The hours of work will be a total of 40 hours from Monday to Friday and may include an occasional Saturday morning as required.
