We have 19 inpatient beds and look after patients requiring rehabilitation, assessments for future care including nursing homes, and palliative care.
We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to join our team.
Main Duties of the Job You will support and assist Registered Nurses as a member of the nursing team and under supervision perform a broad range of activities and assigned tasks as required by the patients' individualised care plans.

Person Specification Qualifications
Good standard of literacy and numeracy and spoken English (Minimum Level 1 or Functional Skills). Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent experience.
Care Certificate or willing to work towards this.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and relatives, remaining sensitive and empathetic.
Experience
Understanding of the health or social care setting.
Previous experience of working in a health or social care setting, or undertaking a caring role.

Compassionate, treats everyone with dignity whilst respecting an individual's diversity, beliefs, culture, values, needs, privacy, and preferences. Demonstrates respect and empathy.
