Proven experience as a Healthcare Assistant in a GP surgery or primary care setting. Relevant qualifications and certifications in healthcare assistance. Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Main duties of the job

Patient Care:

Assist healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to patients. Conduct basic health checks, such as measuring vital signs and collecting patient histories. Clinical Support:

Prepare and maintain examination rooms for patient consultations. Assist in minor medical procedures and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals. Administrative Duties:

Record and update patient information accurately in electronic health records. Assist with appointment scheduling, prescription requests, and other administrative tasks. Infection Control:

Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe healthcare environment. Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards. Patient Communication:

Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and information. Offer support and reassurance to patients during their healthcare visits. Collaboration with Healthcare Team:

Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on patient care. About us
