Head Chef, Events Department: F&B Events Kitchen Inspired and Supported by: Executive Chef Your purpose will be: To lead the Events kitchen at The Savoy, delivering exceptional culinary experiences for private celebrations, corporate events, and grand occasions. With creativity, precision, and dedication, you will craft innovative menus that complement The Savoy’s legendary hospitality, ensuring every event becomes a memorable experience. You will be accountable for: Managing all aspects of the Events kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution of high-quality cuisine for all events. Innovating and designing seasonal menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef, incorporating contemporary techniques and premium ingredients. Leading, inspiring, empowering, and mentoring a talented team of chefs to consistently lead and exceed culinary expectations. Collaborating closely with clients, event planners, and internal stakeholders to tailor menus and ensure bespoke culinary experiences. Overseeing and managing inventory, procurement, and cost control to optimize profitability whilst enhancing cuisine quality in collaboration with the Executive Chef. Upholding rigorous standards of hygiene, food safety, and health regulations. Staying attuned to culinary trends and integrating them into menu offerings to maintain The Savoy’s reputation for excellence. Qualifications

What you will need to do in this role? Maintain, develop, and implement culinary standards aligned with The Savoy’s vision and goals. Work with the Events and Sales teams to design and deliver bespoke menus that delight guests and elevate their celebrations. Coordinate daily operations of the Events kitchen, including production, plating, and quality control. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with other departments, fostering teamwork and efficiency. Conduct regular team briefings, performance reviews, and professional development programs. Support sustainability initiatives and champion The Savoy’s commitment to responsible hospitality. Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring guest satisfaction is at the forefront of every decision. Please note that we believe in flexibility and multi-skilling, and you may be asked to do different tasks from time to time to enable us to meet the needs of our guests and colleagues.
