- Salary: 45000 to 50000, dependent on experience, plus Tronc (around £8000 per year), plus annual bonus

We have a lovely restaurant and bar area, two cosy private rooms, 6 Boutique Rooms operating as Bed & Breakfast and a beautiful beer garden for the summer months and even our own little cave.
We are known for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients to create memorable dining experiences. We are seeking an innovative and dedicated Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and drive our culinary vision forward.

Key Responsibilities for our Head Chef:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a kitchen team to maintain high standards in food preparation and presentation.
- Develop new menus and dishes in line with seasonal ingredients and culinary trends.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including stock control, wage control, ordering, and managing suppliers.
- Ensure all food is prepared to the highest quality, with consistency and adherence to food safety standards.
- Control and manage food costs, including waste management and portion control.
- Train and develop junior chefs, fostering a culture of creativity, teamwork, and professionalism.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements for the Head Chef:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-quality establishment.
- Passion for creating innovative dishes with a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety standards, and inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain high standards during busy service periods.
- Culinary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
