Location Scarborough, ON About the Facility Mission Elite Academy holds an on-court Tennis development sector working with players ranging from Grand Slam and Power 5 NCAA players to High-Performance Juniors and kids beginning the sport. Our Professional/NCAA and Youth Prep academy is aimed at being an extension of our ability to help players maximize their value and prepare them for the next steps and goals in their careers. This is a contract position. The working period is
May 6th, 2024 – October 1st, 2024 Duties To effectively cultivate a Top NCAA Program environment that is challenging, encouraging, educational, and competitive. To be able to optimize training, bring out the best in every player, and know how to work with multiple different personalities. To be an incredible leader who upholds the standards that are paramount at Mission Elite. To be able to work effectively with the Mission Elite executive staff to continually improve the academy. Qualifications Preferably having Played in the NCAA or Coached full time in the NCAA. Tennis Coaching Certification held in any province (is not a prerequisite; can be obtained after securing contract). Assets Leader; someone who knows how to manage and bring the best out of people. Good Character; someone who always does the right thing and never cuts corners. Passionate; someone who loves the game, loves coaching, and really wants to do the job effectively. Ambitious; a person who has the desire to go above and beyond and is always growing.
