Lead the day to day works programmes at our world-class training ground
The successful candidate will lead the maintenance of 11 full-size grass pitches, 3 artificial pitches, a ¾ size indoor pitch, 5 grass training areas, and various off-pitch areas, ensuring top-quality playing conditions year-round.
Many of our pitches require renewal and renovation projects over the next five years, which the Head Grounds Person will oversee while collaborating with senior staff at the Elite Performance Centre and American Express stadium.
This role also involves the supporting future expansion delivery, including a potential Women’s first-team stadium and enhanced community facilities. They will be responsible for providing the highest quality pitches and training areas throughout the year for all our teams as well as ensuring all off pitch areas are also maintained and presented to the highest standards.
A commitment to sustainability is essential, with the candidate expected to drive environmental efforts and enhance biodiversity at all venues. They will support the Football Club and Foundation in achieving their objectives, upholding the Team Brighton Values throughout.

Qualifications Required:
- Sports Turf Maintenance Level 2 and 3 certifications
- N.P.T.C. PA1, PA6, and PA2A certificates in pesticide application
