Head Nurse Opportunity An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and passionate Head Nurse to join a modern, forward-thinking veterinary practice. This role offers the chance to work in a supportive and professional environment, where high standards of clinical care and innovation are key priorities.

Role Overview The position involves providing exceptional veterinary nursing care while working closely with a team of experienced professionals. Responsibilities include: Lead, mentor, and manage the nursing team to deliver high-quality and efficient patient care. Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring compliance with best practices and protocols. Collaborate with veterinarians and colleagues to develop and implement effective patient care plans. Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and functionality of medical equipment and technology. Manage and monitor stock levels of medical supplies and medications. Cultivate a positive, supportive, and team-oriented work environment. Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay abreast of advancements in veterinary care.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse with: A recognised qualification and RCVS registration (or equivalent). Strong clinical skills and veterinary knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with both clients and team members. A team-oriented approach and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative setting. Confidence in using veterinary software and technology.
