June 2025 Cygnet Elowen (Derby, DE75 7JH) Cygnet Hospital Elowen is our brand new specialist 24-bed mental health hospital for women due to open mid-2025 in Derbyshire. There will be two wards at the hospital; a 12-bed complex personality disorder service for women with disordered eating and a 12-bed highly specialised eating disorder service. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape and develop occupational therapy provision across both wards. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality assessments and interventions supporting patient recovery and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. We will be recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant, which the post holder will supervise. Additionally, a further Occupational Therapist and an Occupational Therapy Assistant will be recruited in 2026 as the service develops. Occupational Therapy Directorate Under the leadership of our occupational therapy directors, we support over 185 Occupational Therapists.
