Head of Business Accounting job for a Listed FMCG business, based in Manchester, paying up to £95k + bonus
Your new company You will be joining a Listed FMCG business with an excellent reputation for its outstanding working environment and culture. The company is growing at an excellent rate and is developing its SSC footprint ahead of additional investment to support its growth plans across existing and new markets, alongside a large transformation project.
Your new role You will be initially tasked to drive best practice across the business and directing innovation, looking for continuous improvements and evolution of services. You will lead the end-to-end sales-to-cash process, providing strategic direction and operational leadership for all S2C initiatives. You will be the key decision maker in defining new ways of working alongside the Director of SSC and driving best practice around behaviours and the culture, across a large team and the wider business.
What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with previous experience of dealing within large complex accounting structures within a Share Service Centre which has gone through change and/or transformation. You will need to have strong communication skills and be able to adapt and communicate with a large finance team which you will have an influence on. You'll have a strong personality, produce competency and behaviour frameworks, with the ability to influence and drive decisions in a large finance team.
