Play a key role in revitalising our approach as we bring housing services back in-house. What You’ll Be Doing Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement the Housing Asset Management Strategy and Investment Plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative standards, including the Building Safety Act. Building Safety Oversight:

Serve as the responsible officer for fire and building safety, managing inspections, reporting, and risk mitigation. Carbon Reduction:

Lead strategies and programmes to deliver energy-efficient, sustainable homes, including funding bids and delivery. Tenant-Centric Initiatives:

Drive investment and measures to address damp, mould, and condensation, ensuring tenants feel safe and secure. Capital Investment:

Oversee Housing Revenue Account (HRA) capital and regeneration programmes, utilising stock condition data to prioritise and deliver improvements. Performance and Efficiency:

Ensure strong financial management, value-for-money assessments, and compliance with regulatory frameworks. What We’re Looking For A relevant professional qualification or significant successful experience in asset management or housing. Strong understanding of housing repairs and assets, compliance requirements, and funding processes. Proven ability to lead large-scale projects, meet deadlines, and deliver measurable improvements. Experience with bidding for funding, working with developers, and forming strategic partnerships. A strategic thinker with political awareness and exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills. Why Now?
