Head of Marketing & BD for a crown jewel anti-trust, competition and regulatory practices of a phenomenal global law firm. This senior leadership role is one of significant strategic importance for the firm, and will be a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone to play a true advisory role to key partners in the firm. The role will manage a global team, and will be responsible for creating, leading and executing marketing and BD EMEA strategy across anti-trust, competition and regulatory practices. This will include:
• Advising partners and teams on specific new business opportunities and leading on the development of the firm’s proposition, approach, team, and supporting materials.
• Identifying opportunities with relevant partners and department resources to bring to market packaged solutions or new product offerings.
• Acting as strategic advisor and facilitator on pitches across the global practice. Carrying out post-pitch and client service reviews.
• Develop robust strategic plans and then manage their implementation, regularly monitoring and reporting on progress.
• Leading strategy and offering coaching for specific client opportunities to broaden existing relationships and drive the development of new relationships.
This is a senior level role and requires someone with a proven track record of leading a global team, coaching and influencing partners and delivering against strategy and BD plans. You should be able to manage partners’ expectations and cut through the noise to identify key priorities.
