Head of Business Controlling & Finance Development, FFS

Huhtamaki's Fiber Foodservice segment is currently looking to hire a Head of Business Controlling & Finance Development. This is a key role that is responsible for reporting on new business performance and leading finance development initiatives across the FFS business segment.

Part of the FFS segment finance leadership team, as well as New Business leadership team, this role requires strong finance business partnering capabilities. The role also works closely with group functions, global process owners, and ERP project teams. As head of Finance Development, the position works across the segment with local finance leads.

Reporting into the VP Finance, FFS, the successful candidate should be based in Finland (Espoo) - preference, or in Spain (Nules), Netherlands (Leeuwarden or Franeker), UK (Gosport) or Poland (Czeladz).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the monthly performance management process towards segment and regions.

Coordinate the strategic planning and budget planning process for the New Business, ensuring robust targets/KPIs and objectives are in place.

Provide timely, accurate, and relevant financial information to key business users and decision-makers that assist them in optimizing performance and results.

Lead business controlling development agenda execution for FS EAO.

Develop and monitor capital expenditure budgeting considering project costs, approvals, financing costs, cash flow, and return on investment.

Provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting and analysis in line with Group reporting requirements.

Work closely with group and segment teams to define, support, and drive the finance transformation agenda.

Coordinate preparation and performance follow-up of our commercial plans.

Monitor and support operational performance.

Experience & Qualifications:

Relevant working experience of +10 years in Finance roles, preferably from the manufacturing industry in a global environment.

University degree in Finance or Business Administration, or equivalent.

Strong orientation to strategic thinking and development.

Understanding the business logic and performance management of international business.

Good collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Motivated and structured approach to work: familiarity with all common business support tools (IT).

Analytical and creative approach to the development and implementation of new ideas and concepts.

Strong communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate to all business and finance stakeholders.

Change Management experience.

Strong leadership skills and experience.

Professional proficiency in English.

Ability to travel.
