We are seeking a tenacious, results-driven and experienced Head of Business Development professional reporting directly to the Group CFO. T his role can be based in our Milton Keynes or London office. Your Key Responsibilities will include: Drive origination of on-market and off-market opportunities. Develop relationships with brokers and vendors to create a best-in-class pipeline of opportunities. Structure deals and work alongside Head of deal advisory on all due diligence workstreams, with tax and legal due diligence insourced as well as outsourced and financial due diligence. Outsourced for more material deals. Collaborate with the Operations team to integrate businesses. Work alongside head of deal advisory to prepare detailed and value-creating reports and analysis for the Board including tracking newly acquired businesses performance against the original business case What We Are Looking For: An experienced M&A Business development professional with a proven track record of managing deal flow from origination to integration. In-depth knowledge of the UK estate agency market. Ideally delivered a “buy and build” strategy. Demonstrated ability to drive organic growth initiatives. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a highly demanding Board. Self-starter who has the capability of taking full ownership of all M&A aspects. Experience and Qualifications Bachelor's degree. At least 10 years’ experience within a fast paced commercial/sales environment. The ability to identify opportunities and assess / mitigate risks. Strong Communication negotiation skills. Effective influencing skills with sellers, colleagues, and executive board members. Strong existing network in the Real Estate industry. Connells Group
