About the role As Head of Business Development, you will provide visible and confident leadership to our Business Team. You will be responsible for the development of high-quality service offers that are innovative and promote the vision and values of MHM to commissioners. You will promote the profile and reputation of MHM by building and maintaining positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including relevant professional networks and people who access our services, and keeping up to date with best practices in the field. You will lead on business growth, working with the Director of Development and the Executive Team to achieve MHM’s Strategic Plan Targets. About you To be successful in the role, you will be able to demonstrate visible and confident leadership, “living” the values of MHM, and be able to lead your teams in achieving priorities identified in MHM’s strategic plan. We will ask that you have the following skills and experience: Experience of business development in the voluntary and community sector. Experience of successful large-scale Bid Management and Quality Assurance. Evidence of developing strategic partnerships and business relationships. Experience of researching, analysing, and using market intelligence to identify growth opportunities. Proven ability to communicate clearly in difficult and complex situations. Experience in risk assessment. Experience of budget setting and management. Experience of managing staff within a high-paced target-driven team. Understanding of the emerging commissioning environment within Health and Social Care. Understanding of the Bid process within Health and Social Care. What we offer
