This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head of Business Intelligence (BI) to take ownership of the BI function, driving innovation and ensuring business reporting delivers actionable insights to support key decision-making. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will lead a skilled team, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance BI processes, systems, and tools. About the Company: This role is with a leading provider of Environmental and Sustainability solutions across the UK and Ireland. Focused on Waste Management, Resource Recovery, and Circular Economy initiatives, the organisation plays a vital role in recycling materials, creating clean energy, and driving sustainable change. The company is undergoing rapid growth, with ambitious plans to double in size over the next two years, presenting exciting opportunities for the BI function to evolve and support its mission. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of a group-wide BI strategy to streamline reporting and unlock actionable insights. Play a pivotal role in a major system migration project, working closely with IT leadership to drive success. Manage and mentor BI Developers and collaborate with offshore partners to deliver high-quality results. Standardise reporting processes to meet the demands of rapid business growth while addressing diverse departmental needs. What We're Looking For Extensive BI leadership experience, ideally within a multi-site, private equity-backed organisation, with a focus on developing strategies that drive business decisions. Strong proficiency in Power BI, SQL, and modern data architecture tools (e.g ETL). Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including managing remote and multi-site teams. In-depth knowledge of BI tools, data warehousing, and system infrastructure to optimise and manage BI functions effectively.
