An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Care to join our Nursing and Care Team. This role will require the successful candidate to lead the organisation in the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the National Minimum Standards for Children’s Homes and the Care Quality Commission standards, with the Registered Manager for the organisation reporting to you.
Role Requirements
You will be responsible for the professional leadership and management of nursing and care staff across The Children’s Trust. Your role involves working collaboratively to ensure high standards of equitable, safe, and evidence-based service provision, while continuously developing services in line with The Children’s Trust strategic plan. You will also ensure that children and families are involved in the evaluation and development of changes to service provision.
You will provide highly visible leadership of the nursing and care workforce and foster a culture which values continuing professional development that empowers nurses and carers to achieve excellence.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high level of attention to detail. You will naturally possess excellent inter-personal skills, and an ability to consult and positively engage with key stakeholders across the organisation.
