Job description - Head of Care
An exciting opportunity for a Head of Care is available. This could be a current senior carer or team leader looking to progress in their career. You would join a team focused on providing high-quality care and have an opportunity to grow with the company and bring joy to the lives of our residents.
The working week is contracted at 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. You may be required to cover shifts outside of these hours on occasions, which may include bank holidays.

Purpose of the Role
To be part of the team and oversee the care staff with aims to ensure that residents’ needs are met on a daily basis and provide them with a safe and comfortable environment.
To help promote as much personal and physical independence and choice as possible in the activities of daily living undertaken by the residents within the Care Home.
To help maintain a stimulating and attractive environment for all residents.
Review and implement care plans and risk assessments.
Responsibilities and Duties
To assist in the direct care provision of all aspects of the service users' needs, which may include, among others, personal care, medication administration, mobility, continence promotion, assistance with feeding, and updating documentation.
Complete audits and quality assurance measures as instructed by the manager.
To attend appropriate training programmes/courses as available, which will further existing knowledge.
