Apollo is a specialised independent (re)insurer, established in 2009, to deliver top-tier products and services to clients, brokers, and capital partners at Lloyd’s. The name "Apollo" was inspired by the achievements of one of its founding investors, Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon in 1969. Your Role:
Establish and lead a small permanent change team at Apollo supplemented with temporary specialist resource to deliver the Apollo change portfolio to support the Apollo strategy.
What you’ll do:
Prioritisation of the portfolio of change
Resource management across the portfolio of change
Benefit realisation tracking
Embed appropriate project management practices and governance across the Apollo Group
Embed business analysis capabilities and operational excellence disciplines
Production of timely and high-quality reporting for the Operations and Change Management Committee, ExCo and Board
Responsible for co-ordination of Operational Resilience and BCP
Disclose appropriately any information of which Lloyd’s, the FCA or the PRA would reasonably expect notice
When exercising your responsibilities, you must pay due regard to the interests of current and potential future policyholders in ensuring the provision by the firm of an appropriate degree of protection for their insured benefits
What we are looking for:
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in leading a PMO/change function
Project management experience (Agile and Waterfall)
Experience in dealing with third party suppliers
Experience of working in a regulated environment
Insurance & London market knowledge would be desirable
