Triage and prioritise identified needs and work with operational colleagues, business solutions, L&D, IT & Data to identify effective and cost-effective solutions Make sure that the business benefits for process improvements are well-defined, agreed, properly measured and successfully delivered and evaluated Act as Operations business sponsor for improvement projects, building project teams and methodologies appropriate to the size and complexity of the solution Drive solutions to completion, building buy-in from colleagues and maintaining excellent communication and collaboration throughout As systems lead for Operations, ensure all processes are documented and well understood. Ensure systems data flows and processes are reviewed from a control perspective ensuring robust controls are in place to identify audit issues, or exceptions. The role is the Functional lead for all operational systems ensuring systems are operating in support of the function, are fit for purpose and updated/upgraded in response to business and technology needs in a timely and efficient manner. Evaluate the systems technology for Operations identifying additional functionality, upgrade and configuration. Complete post implementation reviews to identify learnings and areas of improvements for future transformations/changes. Person Specification Technically strong Operations professional with significant experience in operations, operational change management or systems leadership. Demonstrable experience of analysing highly complex problems and identify and project manage solutions in a timely, effective manner. Ability to interact with stakeholders to support projects and bring about positive change. A track record of delivering success in project and operational management ensuring lessons are learnt and communicated at the end of the project. Creator of strong collaborative working relationships at all levels, across functional boundaries. Able to report, communicate and influence effectively across the business and at all levels with a clear focus upon driving improvements. Highly experienced in the use of MI systems and knowledgeable regarding the impact of business processes upon operational reporting and controls. Strong skill set in working with Microsoft Office tools. Highly organised and proactive with the ability to manage a complex workload with conflicting deadlines.
