Being part of a successful PLC brings a wealth of tools, experience, and support. About the opportunity The role of Head of Commercial is critical to the overall success of Comparison Creator. You will identify and develop new profitable business opportunities relating to our websites and will manage a team of relationship managers to deliver revenue targets and increase the total revenue from all relevant products and services for each assigned account.

About your responsibilities Ownership of the P&L for all CC products Determine and use appropriate sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets for sales of our products, with an emphasis on growth Deliver strategic deals with large UK comparison sites Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the sectors of the UK market you will work in - understanding the current and future strategy, opportunities, challenges Work with the wider Fintel group of companies, Commercial Team colleagues and other internal teams to introduce new tools and processes, maximise the opportunity to drive revenue growth and to ensure that the products and services proposed to clients can be delivered to appropriate quality standards and governance Establish and develop client relationships at a senior level within client organisations Work with key client contacts to understand each client’s business strategy and key business needs to identify potential sales opportunities and define and deliver appropriate CC solutions to meet client needs Produce professional written proposals and pricing for clients, ensuring that CC is positioned as a premium solution provider and maximising revenue from each sales opportunity Create business cases, timelines and roadmaps for developing CC projects. What you'll need to succeed A proven track record in business-to-business sales to medium to large companies and ideally have a background in the UK insurance or financial services and of the opportunities, challenges facing the industry Ability to build strong commercial relationships, an understanding of how to uncover opportunities/challenges and present the solution in a meaningful way A strong knowledge of CC products and solutions and how they might meet client's challenges and needs The ability to determine and use appropriate sales strategies and tactics to ensure that activity levels are maintained (in terms of calls, meetings, demonstrations, trials, etc.) and revenue targets are met Qualifications, Training & Knowledge Degree educated, or able to demonstrate equivalent intellectual ability Evidence of significant sales training Relevant financial services qualifications or able to demonstrate equivalent intellectual ability Understanding of Consumer Duty and FCA regulation Good understanding of UK general insurance products, the UK market and how these are distributed to consumers A good level of numeracy and financial awareness, commercial acumen Excellent influencing skills Role location This is a hybrid role so you'll be based from our Cwmbran office twice each week to work with colleagues.
