Head of Commercial

What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership:
Oversee and develop our commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and market trends.
Contract Expertise:
Provide expert guidance on NEC4 contracts, managing all commercial aspects from inception to closure.
Cost Optimisation:
Identify opportunities to reduce project costs while maintaining quality and compliance.
Team Development:
Mentor and inspire our commercial team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Client Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Management:
Negotiate and manage NEC4 contracts, minimising risks and maximising value.
Financial Oversight:
Monitor project costs, ensuring adherence to budgets and profitability.
Claim Management:
Prepare and submit claims for variation works and compensation events.
Performance Analysis:
Track and analyse commercial performance against KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
Team Leadership:
Coach and develop the commercial team, providing guidance and support.
Requirements
Proven Experience:
A successful track record in a similar role within the telecoms industry.
NEC4 Expertise:
Deep understanding of NEC4 contracts and their application in infrastructure projects.
Strong Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders.
Analytical Skills:
Ability to analyse complex data and make informed decisions.
Leadership Qualities:
Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
