You will also lead the budgeting process, manage tenders and bids, identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings, and serve as a financial partner to senior management and operational teams. Head of Commercial Finance

to join our team within the

Complex Care sector . In this leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting while driving the growth and profitability of our complex home care business across the UK. You will play a key role in implementing pricing strategies, conducting data analysis, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including NHS commissioners, private case managers, and other private organizations. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership:

Develop and implement financial strategies to support growth and sustainability in the Complex Care sector. Financial Analysis & Reporting:

Conduct in-depth financial analyses, including pricing strategies, cost-benefit analyses, and funding models, to guide business decisions. Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with operational and account management teams to create accurate financial forecasts and monitor performance. Tenders & Bids Management:

Manage the financial evaluation of tenders and bids, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with organizational capabilities. Performance Improvement:

Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings, offering insights to improve financial outcomes. Query Resolution:

Address and resolve financial and invoicing queries, ensuring clarity for both internal and external stakeholders. Negotiations:

Lead pricing negotiations, including annual charge increases, while maintaining competitiveness and compliance. Stakeholder Engagement:

Serve as a financial partner to senior management and operational teams, presenting financial insights and recommendations. Risk Management:

Assess and manage financial risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies. Requirements: Education:

Qualified accountant or related field, with an MBA or professional certification preferred. Experience:

Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within healthcare or social care, with a deep understanding of care delivery complexities. Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. Leadership:

Demonstrated leadership with experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving performance improvements. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels of the organization. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant or have a related field, with an MBA or professional certification preferred. They should have proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within the healthcare or social care industry, with a deep understanding of care delivery complexities. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and demonstrated leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams are also required.
