About the job I am delighted to be partnering with a successful B2B business based in Reading, looking to hire a Head of Commercial Finance. The HoCF will train and mentor a team of Commercial Accountants, partnering with key stakeholders (finance and non-finance), providing key information and "story-telling" to support decision making. The Role: Your duties as the successful candidate will include: Business partnering to key financial and non-financial stakeholders Analysing financial information (costs, margins, performance etc.), identifying trends, risks and opportunities Produce value-add insight into the regional performance, with presentation to management Supporting month end, reviewing amendments, and challenging stakeholders on their targets Providing support and insight to Operational teams on performance and profitability Supporting new contracts, building budgets, monitoring performance and needed adjustments Your Profile: To be the successful candidate, you will need to have / be: Excellent Excel skills, i.e. the ability to manipulate and analyse large data Experience engaging with financial and non-financial stakeholders Experience working in a multi-site / location business is beneficial An ambitious and progressive mindset This role does require occational travel across the Thames Valley and London.
