Team Overview The Sky News Business Operations team is at the heart of driving growth and commercial success for Sky News. As Head of Partnerships, you will lead efforts to establish and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with 3rd party platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Apple. This outwardly facing role requires a proactive approach to uncovering new opportunities and managing partnerships, working closely with internal teams to maximize the potential of Sky News' evolving commercial proposition. Our team is dedicated to leveraging collaboration and strategic partnerships to propel Sky News' success. This is your chance to be at the forefront of Sky’s dynamic growth story! What You’ll Do Develop Revenue Growth Strategies:

Lead initiatives to grow commercial returns for Sky News by developing new business and partnership opportunities across the news sector. Identify & Coordinate Partnership Opportunities:

Work cross-functionally to identify, evaluate, and pursue new partnerships and distribution opportunities with platforms. Maintain & Grow Client Relationships:

Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients, developing a deep understanding of their needs to expand partnerships and drive mutual success. Collaborate Across Sky & NBCUniversal:

Partner with teams across Sky, including Sky Media and Sky Distribution, to explore and expand advertising sales, sponsorships, and distribution opportunities. Represent Sky News Externally:

Cultivate relationships with industry peers, platform counterparts, and stakeholders to develop strategic distribution and advertising opportunities. Align & Influence Internal Stakeholders:

Build strong working relationships with internal leaders and teams across Sky News and Comcast to align on partnership priorities and maximize the impact of external collaborations.

What You’ll Bring Expert Knowledge of the Broadcast & Social Media Landscape:

Strong understanding of current trends and partnership potential within the broadcast and social media sectors. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Proven ability to work across departments, leveraging internal expertise to foster strong 3rd party relationships and achieve better outcomes. Strong Stakeholder Management:

Ability to influence, align, and drive progress with senior leaders, navigating complex relationships to achieve common goals. Adaptability & Agility:

Quick to understand new topics and adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment, handling change with ease. Team-Oriented Leadership:

A collaborative leader with high emotional intelligence, aligning closely with the values of the business operations teams. Strategic Thinking & Influence:
