Head of Communications – energy/sustainability – Up to £90k benefits, hybrid Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Communications to join a thriving energy organisation with a big focus on sustainability. This role is hybrid, ideally working 3 days per week from their office in Hertfordshire and 2 days remotely, and will include occasional UK-wide travel (driving license preferred due to site locations but not essential). Our client is looking for an experienced marketer, as Head of Communications you will be an advocate for sustainability, and experience with both strategy and hands-on execution of communications projects. As Head of Marketing & Communications you will be leading the creation, delivery and analysis of campaigns and activities that will promote and raise the profile of this industry leading company via online and offline marketing and PR activities, as well as events As Head of Communications you will utilise strong business acumen to enhance business reputation, working closely with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, and managing agencies. This is a varied Marketing & Communications role where you will be responsible for developing all aspects of the marketing and PR/communications strategy, with the support of a junior marketer and relevant marketing and digital agencies. What do I need? Extensive experience in a senior communications/PR role alongside strong marketing ability, from manufacturing/utilities/renewable energy/sustainability or utilities. A positive, confident outlook and flexible mindset Brilliant leadership skills Hands-on experience delivering multi-channel campaigns that raise brand awareness Excellent knowledge of internal and external communications strategies A degree in a relevant subject such as Communications, Marketing, PR, Journalism Creative content creation skills – strong copywriting and ideally basic graphic design knowledge Driving license preferred If you have extensive communications/PR ability from manufacturing, utilities, energy or similar and would like to focus on sustainability, please send over your CV today.
