Head of Composite Manufacturing

to oversee a team of 90+ technicians and production staff, driving innovation and excellence in composite manufacturing processes. At Williams Racing, we’re dedicated to building a collaborative, high-performance environment that fuels success on and off the track. This role offers the opportunity to lead from the front, foster growth, and implement cutting-edge strategies that align with our ambitious goals. Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Develop and implement a vision for advancing composite manufacturing processes and technologies. Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and high performance. Allocate resources effectively to meet production demands while optimising costs and inventory. Provide updates on manufacturing performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives to executive leadership. Process Optimisation: Drive the development and continuous improvement of composite manufacturing processes to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity. Implement best practices and innovative solutions for operational excellence. Manufacturing Execution: Oversee daily operations to ensure production schedules and quality standards are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D and Quality Control, to streamline processes. Maintain rigorous quality control procedures and promote a culture of continuous improvement. What We’re Looking For: Expertise in Composites:

Deep understanding of composite materials, fabrication techniques, and manufacturing processes. Proven Leadership:

Demonstrated experience in leading and inspiring large teams, with a focus on high performance and professional growth. Process Excellence:

Strong background in process optimisation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement. Collaborative Approach:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and functions. Industry Experience:

At least 7 years in composite manufacturing with progressive leadership roles, ideally in Formula 1 or adjacent industries such as aerospace.
